Fantastic Sea Monsters
Believe it or not, our waters are populated with animals like gigantic squid and octopus, whales and narwhals, sharks, sea serpents and the fascinating leatherback sea turtle. Due to their immense sizes, astonishing shapes and bizarre behaviours, they form the basis for many of our myths and legends. From the beginning of time, we have observed or captured them in our lakes, oceans…and even in the Saint Lawrence!
