A Summer Camp for Fun and Science Lovers!
When the bell will have rung for the last time, that kids of all ages will want to go out expore, the nature science museum camp will be the perfect solution for an unforgettable week with loads of adventures, each one livelier than the next!
The camp will take place at both the Museum of Nature and Science and the Maison de l’Eau. Activities will be tailor-made to suit these two fantastic and unique locations!
At the Museum, campers will expore our exhibits with our experienced and dynamic animators. They will discover, in Worlds of the Night, many animals that are awake while they sleep. Will the campers dare wander in the night maze and enter the immersive alcôves? Most definitely, nocturnal animals won’t hold any more secrets!
The Terra Mutantès will transport our campers in a multisensory show where the planet’s major changes in the last 400 million years are recreated. And let’s not forget Alteranima, an exhibit where unsual encounters with naturalized animals abound.
Campers will have the privilege of visiting our reserves with our curator, discover the First Nations, participate in interactive scientific workshops, and live an extraordinary animated movie experience with SPOROBOLE. What a week!
And because it’s summer, our campers will spend time outside at the Maison de l’eau, where they will go navigate on the Magog river to learn about its rich biodiversity. They will learn the fine art of fishing, and visit the Live Critters! exhibit. The Maison de l’eau will be theirs to discover, all the way up the third floor to the Cabane d’en Eau!
A week at the Museum and the Maison de l’eau, what a perfect way to spend a summer week. Learning while having tons of fun, what could be better?
