Turn-key rentals

The Museum offers more than a dozen travelling exhibitions on numerous subjects for rent across Canada, the USA and Europe. These bilingual exhibitions range in size from 1,000 to 2,000 sq. ft. and are fully adapted for extensive travelling and ease of handling.
Rental prices for an exhibition include:

  • 8 to 12 week rental of the exhibition
  • Set-up and dismantling by our in-house supervisor assisted by your own staff
  • Prorated shipping
  • CAD designed floorplan by our in-house designer
  • Promotional material
  • Educational programs with activity guides
  • Hotline for troubleshooting during normal business hours

Funding is available from Canadian Heritage with the Exhibition Circulation Fund.

Tour management for exhibitions owned by other museums
The Museum offers other museums the opportunity of managing and promoting the tours of their own exhibitions. Among the services offered:

  • Route planning and itinerary
  • Reservations by other museums or institutions
  • Transportation of the exhibition
  • Set-up and dismantling with our in-house technicians
  • Document forwarding (educational programs, promotional material, pictures, etc.)
  • Hotline for client support, during normal business hours
  • Post-presentation evaluations, state of the exhibition and inventory of artefacts and museum pieces
  • Cleaning and repairs
  • Warehousing between presentation sites

The Museum also offers:

  • Adapting the exhibition so it can travel
  • Manufacturing of transportation cases
  • Design of set-up guides and instruction manuals for preserving and caring for the exhibition
  • Design of promotional material
