Thanks to the wealth and variety of their ecosystems, forests
play host to thousands of animal and plant species. Nearly one million Canadians
depend on forests for their livelihood, and over 10,000 different products come
from the forest. But we need to ask ourselves: are we taking good care of our
forests? Who should be allowed to manage the riches they offer to us all?
The exhibition Forest
Kaleidoscope invites visitors to answer these questions while wandering
freely throughout, as if they were walking in an actual forest. The design of
the furniture shows different types of wood, such as maple, cherry, ash, lime
and oak. Throughout the exhibition, visitors are offered different points of
view and bases for reflection. A whole section of the exhibition is devoted
to children, who will discover the true nature of trees and the life that hides
in it.
This exhibition was made
