Techno Bio Style

Nothing is as beautiful and as amazing as Nature! The caterpillar reinvents itself as a butterfly. The egg supports the weight of the chicken keeping it warm but cracks when the tiny chick hits it with its beak to break out. Flowers reproduce with the help of bees who feed on its pollen. Human beings sing and accompany themselves on the piano. The wonders of life awaken our curiosity, our interest and fascinate us.

Nature’s inventions often exceed our own abilities to imagine and create. In their desire to be as accomplished, humans sometimes draw their inspiration from the living world. They sometimes unconsciously reinvent what is already naturally produced. This exhibition introduces the connection between Velcro and burdock, sonar and dolphin, architecture and elephants.Even the human body was a source of inspiration: we wanted to replace body parts that were lost in war combats with human inventions. The first artificial limbs were created before the birth of Christ. Today’s medical inventions often integrate electronics (bionics) and genetic engineering. On top of showing different bionic devices, the exhibition will make you discover the difference between prostheses and ortheses.

Nature is a wide library of experiences and an endless source of inspiration. And what if the next species to disappear was the source of inspiration of the greatest human invention? Techno Bio Style, an exhibition that fascinates  and gives the desire to invent.
